Rain Guard Support

  • Step 1: Prepare Support Material

    • Use 2×4-inch wood to ensure strength and stability.
  • Step 2: Position the Support

    • Place the support at the top of the dam, slightly below the dam wall for a secure fit.
  • Step 3: Attach Dam Wall to Support

    • Use T-screws on the outer sides of both the dam wall and the support to create a strong, stable connection.
  • Step 4: Install Cluster Door Dam (if applicable)

    • If two 2x4s are used to expand dam width, stagger the connections to avoid weak points.
  • Step 5: Drill Holes in the Rain Guard

    • Drill alignment holes in the rain guard to match the position of the support.
  • Step 6: Attach Rain Guard to Support

    • Insert T-screws through the rain guard holes into the support.
    • Place washers on the guard and tighten the screws to secure the attachment.

These steps ensure a stable, durable connection that withstands rising water pressure.
